St. John’s Wort
Themes: Integration of light, groundedness, light-filled cognizance.
“I allow light to move through my body in a balanced way. I am grounded in light.”
Some people are quite psychically active, constantly expanding their energy bodies whether they’re consciously aware of it or not. When this is the case, there can be unsteady connections to the physical and etheric bodies, which results in a lack of groundedness. With this comes a dazzling of sorts in response to light – almost as though exposure to light disorients and mesmerizes the soul who, due to not being strongly oriented to the physical and etheric bodies, is carried away and arrested in an overly expanded, psychic state. Psychic over-expansion without being rooted in the physical/etheric increases risk of invasion from frightening forces, entities and unfavorable, primordial spirits. The medicine of St. John’s Wort helps to integrate light as a nourishing, grounding power, allowing the light to move through our beings in a way that enlightens our consciousness and anchors us to the earth, our physical roots and etheric connection.
