Pine
Pine is the essential forgiveness remedy. Forgiveness is not a place we “should” be when we’re not. Healing is a process. Berating ourselves into forgiveness doesn’t work since it could be asking ourselves to jump over the ocean without ever having dipped our toes in the water. ‘Dipping our toes in’ refers to allowing ourselves to process legitimate feelings – like anger, sadness or hurt – before jumping to forgiveness. Pine helps us to gently offer forgiveness where it belongs first – with our own selves. Self-acceptance and self-forgiveness gives us freedom from undue guilt and blame, and is truly the only way we can ever offer authentic forgiveness on the outside of ourselves. Pine is the number one remedy for healing from having been brought up in or subject to strict, self-denying religious practices or beliefs that highlight offense and damnation over grace.
