Evening-Primrose
A classic “mother essence”, Evening Primrose helps
to heal internalized wounds of rejection related to a human mother. This can be
as a result of literal rejection or abandonment, (physical, verbal, emotional),
or due to the mother being in poor relationship to her own Self. When the
mother rejects her own self by poor self-esteem and self-deprecating inner
dialogue, her offspring absorbs and inherits this energy of self-rejection,
internalizing it and experiencing it in reference to themselves. This can leave
a child, and eventually an adult, feeling unwanted, not good enough and
constantly dejected, which goes along with myriad experiences that reflect
these feelings – the feelings fuel the experiences, and the experiences
validate the feelings – a vicious cycle.
Evening Primrose facilitates energetic rebirthing, connecting the individual to
emotional nurturance that a human mother was unable to provide during early
experiences.
