Deerbrush
A common internal challenge of the evolving human is the endeavor to ensure that our insides and outsides match. It can take a long time to clarify our own values and intentions – once we do, an ongoing project of integrity is to have our actions line up with what truly matters to us, even if that means taking the hard way. The spirit medicine of Deerbrush helps to magnify any gaps that might exist between what we’re doing and saying out in the world and our intrinsic moral code, giving us the opportunity to close those gaps and become aligned with who we really are. Ultimately, this clarifies our own sense of integrity, which lets us sleep easier at night, knowing that we are aligned with truth.
