Mariposa Lily
The classic “mother essence”, Mariposa Lily helps us to heal real or perceived woundedness at the hands of a human mother. Humans are fallible, which means that ALL children reared by humans reach adulthood with mother (and father) “issues”, only to varying degrees. Once we evolve into mature adults, we have the opportunity to learn, grow and heal from our “mother issues” rather than be arrested by them and destined to repeat patterns as a result of them. The gentle spirit of the Mariposa Lily connects us to an archetypal mother – Mother Earth, Goddess Mother – that is infallible, and therefore totally capable of providing impeccable nurturance. This connection facilitates a re-mothering process that aligns us with our own, innate mothering abilities.
